Compared with the traditional street light system, the structure of solar street lights is more complicated, so it is more cumbersome to repair once a fault occurs. Fortunately, solar pole lights do not have continuous wires.
Before repairing the solar pole light, it is necessary to first confirm which part is damaged, that is, the preliminary inspection operation. Solar pole lights are generally composed of the following parts, solar panels, lamps, batteries, and lamps with controllers and LED light sources. Among them, the controller has the highest probability of failure. The manufacturer has sorted out some solar pole lights for us. Common faults and repair methods:
1. The whole light is off. Solar high-pole lights are used for outdoor lighting, and often encounter high temperature and rainy, low-temperature rain and snow climates, and solar high-pole light controllers are usually installed in the light pole, which is prone to short-circuit from the water inflow to the controller. First, check whether the terminals of the controller have water marks or rust. If there is a possibility that the controller is damaged, the battery voltage measurement is not carried out. For example, in a 12V solar pole light power supply system, if the battery voltage is lower than 10.8V, the battery is no longer used. Power storage, need to be replaced. Then check whether there is voltage and current output under normal operating conditions of the Zhetian solar panel. There is no damage to the battery board, replace the battery board. There is no problem with the above, you should check the light source, only connect the power supply to the light source to see if it is lit, if not, replace the light source.
2. The lamp head flashes. The reason for this failure is that the line is in poor contact, the battery is out of power, and the stored power is severely reduced. If the line is no problem, replace the battery.
3. The lighting time is short, and the duration of cloudy and rainy days is short. Usually, the battery can only be reduced when the battery is stored, and the battery is fully formed. Just replace the battery with a reasonable one.
4. The solar pole light source is not fully bright. Many solar pole lights use dot-matrix LED light sources. In addition to the quality of the LED light source itself, some lamp beads will be soldered to form this situation. The solution is to replace the corresponding lamp beads, weld firmly or replace the entire street lamp head.
